I’ve been very diligent with my outline for “Bought” for the first time in forever (if ever, to be honest with you).  It’s actually coming along and is no longer smut without a plot.  I feel that it’s quite an accomplishment.

I have to wonder though, how many smut scenes is too many.  I have 15 chapters plotted out thus far and 7 have smut in them.  I guess that’s not too bad since the story is about a half succubus.  Once upon a time, EVERY chapter for “Bought” had some kind of sex in it.  It’s nice to have the story actually go somewhere not 100% sticky!

Now what I need to do is come up with the main character, Aednan’s, back story.  She’s a half breed and was basically a slave to her family, but I feel obligated to give her more than that.  Also, I want to make sure she’s not uber-powered.  Eh, I kind of hate that sort of thing and I really, REALLY want to prevent it from happening in the novel.  I haven’t exactly come up with anything good, but her back story is supposed to be heavily exposed in chapter 14.  I’m sure I’ll come up with something good.

Anyway, back to work!
