So, many of you may know that my day job consists of wasting away in the call center a rather sizable doctors office.  You know how call centers are.  Stressful.  Boring.  Filled with people calling you “Amber” or “Tiffany.”  Usually, the whole phone crew are stressed out beyond all reason.

But, not today.

For some unknown deity or deities, the phone system at the office is busted.  Not for only our office, but ALL of the offices on the campus I’m on.  Double bonus, the fax machine is down, too.  What in the hell are the odds?!

Anyway, I’m thinking about challenging myself to a short story after my boss leaves.  Nothing like a little challenge, you know what I mean?  Possibly expect something soon!
