P.S. If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been…well…I’ve been obsessing over the new Star Trek movie. Yes, it’s a sad state of affairs. I was an obsessed fan as a child, but then it went away, now it’s back. I even bought my very first Star Trek shirt (woohoo! Mr. Spock!). I promise to return!!
Home sick today, which blows. With all the Swine flu stuff, right now isn’t the best time to get sick. Most of my problems aren’t respatory though, except a clogged nose giving me a headache. That and I’m pretty exhausted and my body aches. I don’t know if I have a fever–no thermometer! I felt like I did this morning, but it’s not as bad right now.
At any rate, I’m taking this opportunity to work on We, The Night… my seasonal e-zine dedicated to erotic sci-fi, dark fantasy, and horror (erotic horror? I think it’s possible! :D). It will be slow coming since I’m prone to sleeping heavily when sick.

I really hate that I haven’t written a blog in a long time. In fact, I haven’t been keeping up with any of my writing obligations. Too much work related stress, among other things. Once I get in the swing of things, I’ll really get in to it. For now, it’s all kind of meh. More to come eventually….??? :p
So, today is our third year anniversary. That’s right, my husband and I married on April Fools Day. We called in Fools in Love.
Three years in I’ve come to some conclusions about marriage.
1. It’s nothing like you expect. I guess, secretly, I assumed it would be something similar to sitcoms. It’s not. It’s a lot more laid back and mundane. There’s nothing wrong with that, though! It’s nice to relax.
2. The person you married is a little zestier than you thought and it’s probably just showing because he’s used to you now. Note, this isn’t a bad thing, just a funny observation. My husband, whom I love dearly, is crazy, but in a good way.
3. You’ll never be able to sleep alone again. I can’t imagine sleeping without my hubby beside me. The bed would be cold and empty. No one likes that feeling.
I’m sure there are more, but those are the most major for me. It’s been quite an aventure being married and it’s only been year 3. What’s after that
It’s been a while since I’ve written a Quickie, but I have a new one up. Unlike last year’s Quickies, this year will be focused on places and not body parts. This one is entitled Highway (take a guess what it’s about). I’ve decided to branch out with this one as it is a bit of a lesbian scene…my very first that I can remember.
