I’ve been working on Dragon’s Love for the past couple of days. I’ll admit to not being very consistent about it. I meant to work on it every day, but I got a little sicky for the past couple of days. I think I’ve only written 90 words (I’m up to something over 3000 now).
I also decided to take the opportunity to get my butt to exercising on a daily basis right now, too. I’m hoping to get myself into a habit of it. Routine can be good sometimes.
I’ll have to admit I’m not really feeling my story right now. I don’t know…It’s just kind of “meh.” The characters aren’t as vibrant as I’d like them to be or something. Plus the story isn’t something that I usually write.
I’m trying to make it a growing experience and tough it out, though I was seriously considering doing another story instead. But I didn’t like a good girl. Here’s hoping that I can finish what I’ve started (no matter how much I just don’t want to).
Welp, the story has begun.
After a fun filled night of Halloween fun at the local trivia game, I came home and got about 500 words done. I’ve been writing ever since I’ve woken up today. However, I don’t feel like I’ve accomplished much so far. God, there is a long way to go, too.
I’m trying to be optimistic, but I guess it can’t be too good if you’re feeling this way in the very beginning. Or, maybe it’s good to get the feeling out of the way so you can focus on the future? Not sure.
Either way, I’m still trucking!
Maybe tomorrow I’ll even post a little bit

Welp, NaNoWriMo starts in just a few days and I’ve decided to participate. I know, scary. Like I said in one of my posts on the forums, I’m just going to try to do what I love and not focus on the word count (that I’m not expecting to meet, but we’ll see!).
At first I was going to work on a story that has been on my mind for years. In fact, it is based off the game where I made a lot of great friendships (including one that led to me getting married).
Then I realized that was a huge undertaking. There is so much to it that I think it would be impossible to do in 30 days. So….a few days before my writing was to begin…I switched stories.
And I only know the very basics of what I’m going to write in said story…
*bracing for possible disaster**
Well, at any rate, for the next month I’ll be updating what’s going on with me and the NaNo story I call Dragon’s Love. I’m sure I’ll be insane by the end of the month. Though, in all honesty, I was almost there anyway *cheeky grin*

Welp, I’m banished from work until Monday due to a viral infection. Luckily, I’m feeling significantly better! Hell, a few days ago, I was practically delusional. It was a really scary time, honestly.
Well, at least I can get some writing done!
